L’incontro con gli studenti e i loro parenti è stato un successo. 21 studenti hanno partecipato all’incontro insieme ai loro tutori.
Questo è un momento di passaggio per i bambini che si diplomano alla scuola primaria e iniziano una seconda fase di istruzione nella loro vita.
Gli obiettivi dell’incontro erano quelli di informare, sensibilizzando gli studenti, a riguardo delle possibilità di sostegno da parte di CIPAD e della importanza del supporto per la loro istruzione ed educazione.
In secondo luogo, per gestire l’elevata aspettativa dal progetto da parte di tutti, a riguardo del sostegno per le rette scolastiche,. Dobbiamo far comprendere la posizione di CIPAD e la sua capacità finanziaria e i suoi obblighi verso i donatori.
In terzo luogo è stata una occasione per fornire consulenza e orientamento su varie questioni che interessano i giovani e gli adolescenti della scuola secondaria. Per esempio, il prepararli ai rischi dei telefoni cellulari, la pressione dei compagni, l’abuso di droghe, le relazioni e l’indulgenza sessuale precoce e le gravidanze
I genitori, i tutor sono stati informati che il progetto può cercare di sostenere le tasse fino a una cifra di 20.000 ksh all’anno a persona, sebbene siano possibili eccezioni; verrà fatta una considerazione speciale in base al background, alle esigenze e alla disponibilità di fondi.
Sono state inoltre sottolineate l’esigenze del progetto per rispettare i propri doveri. Occorre quindi tempestività nel: redigere i moduli di richiesta di assistenza; consegnare le informazioni circa gli importi necessari per le tasse scolastiche secondo le diverse strutture; fornire le immagini e le prove del buon rendimento a scuola che deve avere un voto minimo di D+.
Gli studenti, piuttosto che pensare a scuole lontane e costose, dovrebbero accettare le scelte di scuole che possano essere supportate dal progetto, apprezzandone lo sforzo ed i sacrifici che affrontano i donatori.
Dal lunedì al venerdì avranno luogo gli incontri individuali; uno per uno con ogni studente per concordare la scelta e le spese per le ammissioni alle scuole; poi inoltreremo i nominativi per i donatori.
Infine abbiamo ribadito l’avvertimento che chi ritarda e/o non porta i moduli di informazione con ben strutturati piani tariffari e/o rifiuta la foto perderà l’opportunità che il programma di CIPAD sta offrendo.
We had a successful meeting for the students and their relatives. 21 students attended the meeting alongside their guardians.,
This was a transition meeting for children graduating from primary school and beginning a second life phase of education in their lives.The objectives of the meeting was to sensitize the students on CIPAD and education support for their education.
Secondly, to manage the high expectation from the project in terms of school fees support. therefore they too should understand the position of the organization and its financial capacity and obligations.
thirdly to provide counseling and guidance on various issues affecting the youths and teens in secondary school like the risks of mobile phones,peer pressure,drugs abuse,relationships and early sexaul indulgemnet and pregnacies
the parents were informed that the project can try to support fees to a figure of kshs 20,000 per year though special consideration can be done based on background , needs and availability of funds.
The requirement of the project was also stressed. timely report form, fees structures, pictures and good performance in school with a minimum grade of D+.
choices for school which can be afforded by the project and their effort should be accepted rather than far and expensive schools.one on one discussion will begin starting Monday to friday to agree on admission to schools and we forward the names to the donor
lastly the warning that whoever delays and fail to bring report forms and, fees structures and no pictures will lose the opportunity from the program.
