E’ necessario chiarire che questo comitato non ha mai avuto poteri decisionali bensì, in riferimento alle attività svolte, ha solo una partecipazione consultiva verso gli operatori dei progetti di Cipad e informativa, divulgativa verso la popolazione.
Il Comitato di Gestione, oltre ad essere ponte di collegamento tra la comunità locale e Cipad, è il naturale garante alla popolazione della qualità e quantità del lavoro che svolge CIPAD.
Il Comitato di Gestione ha condotto una ispezione generale del Villaggio Obbitu, con particolare attenzione alla pulizia delle case dei bambini; dei gabinetti e del parco in generale.
Sono state evidenziate alcune mancanze, quali:
- i camini delle cucine sono mal funzionanti e causano fuliggine sulle pareti;
- i pavimenti delle cucine sono molto rovinati e presentano delle buche;
- la copertura estetica in paglia delle cucine si è consumata e sono chiaramente visibili i tetti in cemento;
- alcune lampade delle toilette non sono funzionanti;
- alcuni tavoli sono da sostituire altri da rivestire.
Sono stati apprezzati alcuni aspetti:
- i pavimenti delle case erano puliti; così gli utensili e le attrezzature;
- in ordine e funzionanti anche la maggior parte delle attrezzature, degli strumenti, dei materiali delle cucine;
- disponibile la biancheria da letto, pulita e ben ordinata
- i bambini erano puliti e ben vestiti.
Nell’insieme il giudizio del Comitato di Gestione è risultato positivo.
Ha ritenuto che la vita condotta dai bambini è sicuramente confortevole e che si svolga in un ambiente pensato a loro misura: molto positivo e familiare.
La prima pioggia ha già reso l’area verde del parco uno scenario gradevole e rasserenante.

The Management Committee, in addition to being a bridge between the local community and Cipad, is the natural guarantor to the population of the quality and quantity of the work carried out by CIPAD.
The Management Committee conducted a general inspection of the Obbitu Village, with particular attention to cleaning the children’s homes; toilets and the park in general.
Some shortcomings have been highlighted, such as:
– kitchen fireplaces are malfunctioning and cause soot on the walls;
– the floors in the kitchens are very damaged and have holes;
– the aesthetic straw covering of the kitchens has worn out and the concrete roofs are clearly visible;
– some lamps in the toilets are not working;
– some tables need to be replaced, others need to be upholstered.
Some aspects were appreciated:
– the floors of the houses were clean; so are the tools and equipment;
– most of the equipment, tools and materials of the kitchens are in order and in working order;
– bed linen available, clean and tidy
– the children were clean and well dressed.
Overall, the Management Committee’s opinion was positive.
He felt that the life led by children is certainly comfortable, taking place in an environment designed to suit them, very positive and familiar.
The first rain made the green area of the park a pleasant and soothing scenario.
