The way the rains fell was unfortunate. Without strength for it to flow; in very scarce quantities and patchily distributed along the mountains of the Ethiopian plateau with prevalence at the borders of the Sololo area and not in the area. With the onset of the rain there was the natural overgrowth of weeds which became even more bushy absorbing the scarce rain. The catchment basins received very little water, despite the water collection channels. They were constantly kept clean by removing any barriers in their path. The water tanks in the greenhouse area are full and are already being used.Currently the sun appears at intervals; we pray, hoping for more rains to arrive in order to fill all the reserves.Only 2 greenhouses are in active cultivation and only 2 open fields are used and sown. With the exception of the area reserved for grazing, the agricultural areas behind the greenhouses and PAN-3 are not yet cultivated. We have activated the nursery in the greenhouses.Greenhouses are sown with sukuma, spinach, green peppers and onions. We bought more seeds and fertilizers to help the harvest. The reduced activity is due to the scarce collection of water which therefore cannot be sufficient for all greenhouses. We have 11 beehives with colonies. There is some wax left in other hives that may not attract bees. We will expect honey after the plants start flowering soon.
