Una bella lettera dal forte impatto emotivo

Cari tutti, 

scrivo questo messaggio con il cuore colmo di gratitudine e sincero apprezzamento per l’incredibile supporto che ho ricevuto dal Progetto Sololo durante tutto il mio percorso di studi.

Dalla mia infanzia fino al completamento dei miei studi universitari, il Progetto Sololo è stato per me un pilastro di speranza, incoraggiamento e opportunità. Il vostro programma di borse di studio non solo ha supportato le mie esigenze accademiche, ma ha anche trasformato la mia vita in modi che le parole difficilmente possono esprimere.

Crescendo nel villaggio di Obbitu, c’era una semplice scritta su un muro che vedevo quasi ogni giorno. Diceva: “I sogni sono liberi in questo villaggio; non infrangerli”. All’epoca, sembrava solo una scritta dipinta su un muro grezzo, ma per me è diventata qualcosa di più profondo, una voce silenziosa che parlava al mio cuore ogni volta che la vita sembrava incerta.

Ci sono stati momenti in cui le circostanze sembravano troppo difficili e il cammino da percorrere incerto, ma quelle parole sono rimaste con me. Mi hanno ricordato che il luogo in cui si nasce non limita chi si può diventare. Nel silenzio, quel messaggio è diventato il mio incoraggiamento, la mia forza e, a volte, l’unico promemoria che i miei sogni erano ancora vivi, anche quando la realtà sembrava difficile.

Provenendo da un contesto in cui intraprendere un percorso di studi sarebbe stato estremamente difficile senza aiuto, il vostro sostegno mi ha dato la possibilità di sognare in grande e di lavorare di più per un futuro migliore. Grazie alla vostra sponsorizzazione, ho potuto frequentare la scuola con regolarità, accedere al materiale didattico, pagare le tasse scolastiche e concentrarmi sugli studi senza il costante peso delle difficoltà economiche.

Oggi, sono orgogliosa e grata di poter dire di aver conseguito con successo la laurea triennale in Nutrizione e Dietetica e di essere in attesa della cerimonia di laurea. Questo traguardo non è solo mio; è anche il riflesso della dedizione, della generosità e della visione del Progetto Sololo e di tutti coloro che hanno contribuito al successo di questo programma.

Giunta alla fine del mio percorso universitario, quelle parole sul muro del villaggio di Obbitu mi sembrano più reali che mai. Mi rendo conto che non erano solo dipinte su un muro, ma una promessa. Una promessa che i sogni di questo villaggio non sono fragili e non sono destinati a essere infranti. Guardando indietro, mi rendo conto di come ogni passo del mio percorso sia stato protetto e guidato da quella convinzione, e dalle persone e dalle opportunità che hanno contribuito a far crescere quei sogni anziché a farli svanire.

Le conoscenze e le competenze acquisite durante i miei studi mi hanno ispirato a continuare a crescere a livello accademico e professionale, per poter dare un contributo ancora maggiore alla società, soprattutto in ambiti come la salute, l’alimentazione e il benessere della comunità. Credo che questo non sia la fine del mio percorso accademico, ma piuttosto l’inizio di maggiori opportunità e traguardi futuri, inclusi ulteriori studi e ricerche. Fin da bambino, ho sempre sognato di raggiungere il massimo livello di istruzione possibile e rimango determinato a perseguire questa visione mentre continuo a crescere.

Ringrazio di cuore i mentori, gli sponsor, i coordinatori e tutto il personale che ha dedicato tempo e risorse per garantire a studenti come me un futuro migliore. Il vostro investimento nell’istruzione cambia vite, famiglie e intere comunità. Sono orgoglioso di essere uno dei beneficiari della vostra nobile missione.

Mentre inizio il prossimo capitolo della mia vita, porto con me i valori di impegno, umiltà, compassione e servizio che il vostro programma mi ha trasmesso. Prometto di utilizzare responsabilmente le conoscenze e le opportunità che ho acquisito e di contribuire positivamente alla società. Spero anche di poter un giorno sostenere altri giovani nello stesso modo in cui voi avete sostenuto me.

Vi prego di accettare la mia più sincera gratitudine per aver creduto in me e per aver percorso questo lungo cammino insieme a me, dall’infanzia fino al completamento dei miei studi universitari. Il vostro sostegno ha fatto una differenza indelebile nella mia vita e ve ne sarò per sempre grato.

Che Dio benedica abbondantemente il Progetto Sololo e continui ad espandere il suo impatto affinché molti altri studenti possano realizzare i propri sogni.

I am writing this message with a heart full of gratitude and sincere appreciation for the incredible support I have received from the Sololo Project throughout my educational journey.

From my childhood to the completion of my university studies, the Sololo Project has stood by me as a pillar of hope, encouragement, and opportunity. Your scholarship program has not only supported my academic needs but has also transformed my life in ways that words can hardly express.

Growing up in Obbitu village, there was a simple writing on a wall that I would see almost every day. It read: “Dreams are free in this village; do not shatter them.” At the time, it looked like just painted words on a rough wall, but to me it became something deeper , a silent voice that spoke to my heart whenever life felt uncertain.

There were moments when circumstances seemed too heavy and the path ahead felt unclear, but those words stayed with me. They reminded me that where you are born does not limit who you can become. In silence, that message became my encouragement, my strength, and sometimes the only reminder that my dreams were still alive even when reality felt difficult.

Coming from a background where pursuing education would have been extremely difficult without assistance, your support gave me the chance to dream bigger and work harder toward a brighter future. Through your sponsorship, I was able to attend school consistently, access learning materials, pay school fees, and focus on my studies without the constant burden of financial challenges.

Today, I am proud and grateful to say that I have successfully completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and I am currently awaiting graduation. This achievement is not mine alone; it is also a reflection of the dedication, generosity, and vision of the Sololo Project and everyone involved in making this program successful.

Standing at the end of my university journey, those words on the Obbitu village wall feel more real than ever. I realize they were not just painted on a wall they were a promise. A promise that dreams from this village are not fragile, and they are not meant to be broken. Looking back, I see how every step of my journey was protected and guided by that belief, and by the people and opportunities that helped those dreams grow instead of fade.

The knowledge and skills I have gained during my studies have inspired me to continue growing academically and professionally so that I can make an even greater contribution to society, especially in matters concerning health, nutrition, and community well-being. I believe this is not the end of my academic journey, but rather the beginning of greater opportunities and achievements ahead, including further studies and research in the future. Ever since childhood, I have always dreamed of advancing my education to the highest level possible, and I remain committed to pursuing that vision as I continue to grow.

I deeply appreciate the mentors, sponsors, coordinators, and all staff members who sacrificed their time and resources to ensure students like me could have a better future. Your investment in education changes lives, families, and entire communities. I am proud to be one of the beneficiaries of your noble mission.

As I begin the next chapter of my life, I carry with me the values of hard work, humility, compassion, and service that your program has inspired in me. I promise to use the knowledge and opportunities I have gained responsibly and to contribute positively to society. I also hope to one day support other young people in the same way you supported me.
